I love the rain. There is nothing better than laying down to sleep with a solid outpouring of water from the sky. I don’t know why its so soothing, but I love it! Rain has a way of purifying, washing, and cleaning the place where it falls. Sometimes it can be depressing when the day is filled with grey skies and raindrops, but after the rain the surrounding world seems so clean, fresh, and ready to show God’s glory all over again.
Life is so much like a good rain shower… There are times in our life where situations have us depressed and wondering where God is in our life. When we come out of those seasons of our life, though, and look for how it made us better, we can see the benefit of those times. Being a christian doesn’t mean having a perfect life with no problems. Being christian means knowing there is a rainbow after the rain.
