Do you love fund raising? Maybe you do. There may be a very few people in this world that love taking time away from what they are truly passionate about in order to plan a fund raiser so you can buy goldfish crackers for the preschool department’s snack time. I know there are people like that who do exist, but I am definitely not one of them. So when I hear about something I can set up and spread the word about in order to raise some money for my children’s department I am exstatic!
A site known as Goodsearch has two different ways for big companies to make donations to your non-profit organization. This is not a new site by any means, but it surprises me when so many people I know have never heard of it. Basically, you set up an account and have the people at your office, school, church, etc. use Goodsearch to do their online searches and shopping. Every search will earn you a penny, and every time someone goes through the “Goodshop” your non-profit is given a percentage of the sale.
