Fun has seriously been perverted. I don’t think most people have realized this. I guess I’m just very weird for thinking that you can have fun without destroying something or hurting someone. Our culture has perverted the very idea of fun and entertainment. Its crazy to see kids go from watching “leave it to beaver” to watching shows like “the hills” and other shows that aren’t showing the greatest examples in the world.
We wonder why so most of the world thinks fun has to revolve around drugs, sex, or someone beating another person with a baseball bat and then uploading it to youtube.
What happened to just having fun? Building crazy things, playing games with friends, and just hanging out…
I guess I may sound like an old person, even at 24. I guess I just enjoy being able to remember the fun I had the night before. I enjoy not having to be ashamed of myself when I start having kids and they see videos of me growing up. Most of all, I want my kids… the next generation to be able to have fun, and laugh at things that are “clean.” Not every joke needs to have a body part as a punch line…
What happened to nice, clean, wholesome, laugh till you cry fun?
